Changed Studios opens 90s-inspired barbershop in Blakeley following £20k Start Up Loan support

Changed Studios was founded by brothers Michael, Moses and Matthew Giwa, who shared a long-standing ambition to build a business of their own. Inspired by their father, who previously owned a barbershop, the trio combined their individual skills and experience to create a modern grooming destination in Blakeley, Manchester. 

Michael first began barbering while studying at university in Manchester, working at Smokey Barbers on Market Street. Alongside younger brother Matthew, he developed extensive barbering and hairstyling skills, while older brother Moses brought expertise in IT, software engineering and property. Together, they saw an opportunity to continue their family legacy while creating something uniquely their own.
